I have a track record of developing innovative products and running successful businesses, alongside a rich experience in programmatic since inception. My vision is to disrupt the advertising marketplace which is becoming increasingly ineffective for clients due to silos and misaligned commercial objectives. I have core values of clarity, transparency and empowerment, and a professional objective to support clients by placing intelligence at their fingertips and delivering operational excellence.

My Experience:

  • 12 years digital experience and spent 8.5 years at Dentsu in Manchester (DAN North)  
  • I started to develop self-serve display and social media buying models with emerging technologies such as Invite Media and the Facebook ads platform
  • I launched the Carat Trading Desk, a solution built on the best 3rd party technologies and staffed internally, giving clients greater transparency in terms of media, data and performance. 
  • This solution became AMNET and was further developed across regional offices including Scotland, Leeds and in addition the Irish market
  • At DAN North I launched a grew AMNET to a £20m turnover business  
  • In developing the AMNET product I created a great range of supplier relationships, including partnerships with the likes of Google, Mail Online, Captify and Teads
  • Of the individuals I managed from entry level roles in the industry a minimum of 8 have gone on to success in leadership roles in businesses across Europe.
  • I also built the paid social proposition for DAN North between 2010-2014
  • I developed a programmatic video proposition in conjunction with the Broadcast team at DAN North, to £5m inside 3 years
  • I launched a programmatic planning team, an expert unit with both planning and buying experience, to bridge the knowledge gap between traditional media planners and programmatic specialists. 
  • I possess an entrepreneurial edge and have bootstrapped two successful programmatic consultancy businesses, working closely with advertisers, agencies and publishers

My passion is in building new, innovative digital media solutions to challenge existing models and I strive to surround myself with great teams and individuals to fulfil my ongoing desire to learn.
