Martin sat on their board 2015-2017.

They help victims of abuse and trauma to recovery and a better life, that was a two year role to help them grow (including 3 years of funding). Once they secured their future he stepped down and is still an advocate for them and like DrugFAM would happily meet anyone who wants to help their cause.

Creating A new type of Mathematics

This statement had me chasing me studying for 3 years:

We humans are all irrational thinkers but code is built using rational mathematics, it’s all binary. The reason people feel like numbers is because we’ve written the code to do exactly that. Surely there is a way to understand people’s feelings on an individual level and then give that individual more of what they want and less of what they don’t.

The output is a new type of mathematics which does exactly what the problem statement needed, it has found a way to treat people based on their individual needs. Hunting needles in a haystack is possible.

I mention this as most of my work is about behaviour change and the problem solving model I created to accomplish that but the math stuff is also cool, it is seeking a home with a software company so retailers can go a bananas creating personalised experiences.
